Review Notes: I placed a bid for 20 of these box pressed Torpedos not really expecting to win, but once in while...... If you're a fan of Maduro wrapped smokes, these are just down right beautiful. In fact, just about the darkest Maduro I have yet to see. Very thick and slightly oily to the touch. I had expected both from other reviews and from the appearance of the cigar that this would be a very strong full bodied smoke. But sometimes looks can be deceiving. These sticks are loaded with flavors of coffee, chocolate, and a lingering peppery tastes that offsets a background of sweetness, but I would rate them closer to medium overall. So if your not a big fan of strong cigars, don't let the appearance scare you away, as you may be missing one of the smoothest creamiest smokes you'll find at any price. The construction I found to be quite good and if the burn rate got a little off, it quickly corrected itself. Ash color was a medium grey with the smoking time being a little over an hour. Very good smoke. Recommeded. F. Prefect
