Review Notes: My review of an '07 is two below this one. Tonight I smoked an example from '01, and what a difference the years made. Again the cigar had a woody profile, but with some sweetness not evident in the '07. It drew and burned perfectly, and gained steam as it went along. The finish was crazy, with an overwhelming flavor of spearmint appearing in the last couple inches. Definitely a winner in the aged Vs. fresh experiment.

Review Notes: This one was fresh, from early '07. The flavors were of earth and wood, with a nice draw. One touch-up was all this belicoso required to burn straight. I am anxious to try one of these with a few years on it now as I find the Upmanns usually age extremely well.
