Review Notes: Smoked two Juan Lopez Coronas from 1999 tonight. The first was hopelessly plugged...sometimes I struggle through a tight cigar, but this one wasn't cooperating and I tossed it after an inch. The second had a smokeable draw, albiet still pretty tight, and has some unraveling of the warpper. It had a mellow spice (I know, a bit of a contradiction), and tasted woody. It had little complexity, though it did have that Cuban twang that makes your mouth tingle. For the price, it was somewhat disappointing.
