Review Notes: This cigar started off very promising. The first half was lush, chocolaty and somewhat sweet and a bit spicy but not overly so. Deep dark wrapper is a bit toothy and very nice tasting. Perfect draw and burn was pretty good. Any canoeing was quickly self-corrected. As is the case with so many cigars this one would benefit from some lay-down time. The second half was downright nasty. Bitter tar flavor made it un-smokable after the first 3 inches. Keep in mind, I didn't "over-smoke" this. I took it nice and easy and felt I was on my way to one of the best cigars ever. No such luck. Don't let the double maduro label fool you. It is not that strong a cigar. It is full bodied but not much more than medium strength.
