Review Notes: Wow, what a bargain. I picked up a box of these from J&R for $70 and promptly stashed it away. After a couple of weeks though I gave in and had one. I'm not quite sure if this is exactly the same cigar that was reviewed here many years ago. This is a solid, well-made cigar with a dark satin wrapper. First taste is sweet and slightly peppery. This is a delicious cigar. The first half burnt perfectly but right about halfway it needed a touch up but was perfect then on. A light gray ash held on tight for a nice long time. I'm not sure who or when these were produced but they don't seem to need much aging, but I will anyway. I will report back if they change but there is not much room for improvement. find and enjoy.
