Review Notes: My 2nd Lot 23 was a bit better. It should be having a year in the humi. I enjoyed the refined tobacco flavors and medium body. Leathery tangy flavor begat nice aromas. Very good construction. Not a go-to cigar, but not bad when laid down a while.

Review Notes: My first reaction to this robusto was that the pre-light aroma was nothing special. Once lit, it burned quite quickly. The smoke smelled ordinary and the taste was also - light, papery, slightly leathery. These qualities did mellow a bit before the cigar turned harsh in the last third. Throughout the cigar, I sensed not one bit of sweetness. Reviews of the other vitolas in this line indicated it, but not here. I like sweetness and at least a little flavor. I found myself very jealous of the other guys in the shop who seemed to be enjoying some very dark, satisfying, flavorful smokes, unlike myself. My cigar required 1 relight but burn was quick and even. Would not try again, at least not the robusto.
