Review Notes: The appearance is quite appealing, with a colorful band that sports a Spanish Caravel sailing ship. The wrapper is a rich dark brown & has pretty veins. The construction is not rock solid, but not spongy either. The pre-light flavor has a beautiful cedary tone. The draw & burn is fine. The 1st one of these I smoked I kept saying, "Hey! This thing ain't bad!" My wife told me I had said that 3 times already. I agreed & said I'd have to put it in the review. This cigar is medium/medium to full. The predominant notes are of cedar & there is a light spice tone. In the 2nd half it develops some light high notes in the sinus. The finish leaves a nice toasty flavor on the palate. Worthy of mention is that the wrapper develops a rich shine as you smoke this cigar down. This is a good cigar. I think that if these folks would play with some blends that included other countries tobaccos then they could have a great one.
