Review Notes: Again, just a beautiful stick. Nearly veinless, perfect color. Looks like a Cohiba Siglo VI, but with an oily sheen. Construction also approaches perfection. Effortless draw. I've been aging these in their cello for six months, and the flavor has changed little. Medium body, predominantly woody flavor, but unique. It's a little tart and dry on the first half, but warms up nicely. The flavor doesn't measure up to the appearance, but I'm not sure it could anyway. I expect the slight greenness of youth to dissiapate with age. I'll pull a few of these from their cello and check back with them in a few months. Meanwhile, I'm curious to try the 44 ring gauge Gran Corona from this line. I get the sense that the sweet hints of graham cracker might be more concentrated in that one. As an aside, "ring gauge bloat" is really starting to annoy me. I want to taste the wrapper, dammit1 Anything over 52 starts negating the flavor contribution of the wrapper.

"Another superb release from GH"

Review Notes: Beautiful stick. Deep brown with an inviting, oily sheen. Flat cap. Draw is perfect, yielding heaps of smoke. Interestingly, brewmastermarc's note about the graham cracker flavor is correct, particularly on the first third. Light spice, wood and leather. A long, soft finish. Flavor was very good, but static. I prefer a stick that evolves a little bit. But these may get better, since I smoked this one right off the DHL truck. Another impressive offering from Gran Habano. Though the VL line didn't "wow" me, everything else these guys make certainly has.
