Review Notes: Saw a new review of the Dos Rios torp on another site, which reminded me that I've had a nearly full box of these tucked away for two years. Weighty in the hand, with only the smallest of veins and no soft spots. Unfortunately, the eight months since since my last review has done nothing to bring out any flavor. A real slow starter. Mild. It becomes ever-so-slightly meaty, but a persistent dry oak leaf flavor overwhelms this smoke's minimal attributes. A disappointment. Now, it's a yard gar seemingly heading south toward compost.
