Review Notes: Again, I'm smoking the packed-in-the-round, "hi-octane" version that can still be found here and there. Ugly, blotchy CR wrapper. Unique flavor, solid medium body. Chocolate and coffee, but with with a light, fresh finish. These have lost a little kick in the last nine months. I'd have been better off smoking them up back when I reviewed them last. Still, a tasty smoke and a respectable value. Most akin to the good half of a 5 Vegas "A" (before the ashtray/charcoal flavor dominates). Makes sense that there's a family resemblance, since both are apparently blended by Nestor Plasencia. IMO, the Mayorga is better.
