Review Notes: La Aroma is a delicious, high-octane blend with Cubanesque undertones (and I don't throw that term around lightly). BUT... the construction on this brand just drives me nuts. More often than not, these are underfilled, causing them to heat up quickly if you hit them, or go out if you try to nurse them. This particular pyramid was better than most I've tried, but it still had its issues. Ash was hopelessly flaky. Flavor profile was heavy -- leathery, nutty. Texture of the smoke is oily. A little quality control would make the La Aroma a dazzling smoke. But some smoke like $10 sticks, others are worthless. Do ya feel lucky?
