Review Notes: Bauza is an ancient Cuban brand who's international production was halted during the centralization of the Cuban cigar industry under Fidel Castro. Today's Bauza are made by Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia in Santiago, Dominican Republic using and Ecuadoran sun-grown Sumatra seed wrapper, not unlike the Ashton ESG, and featuring an all-Dominican longfiller blend and binder. The cigars are medium/full in body and offer spice, cedar and woody aromas with the tastes of rich tobacco.
