Review Notes: Daniel Marshall makes the best humidor for the money around - period. They are simply amazing - consistant and beautiful - form and function come together in a delightful choice of finishes and consistant 70/70 humidification systems. However, the cigars that accompanied my Daniel Marshall were not so impressive. I suspect these had dried out and were not in great shape to begin with. nevertheless, I brought these back to life over a few months and tried my first three months later. Then my second at about 8 months and finally my last (before I gave them away) about a year and a month later. These are below average flavor cigars - flat and mild. Maybe good for some, but the Robust shape didn't help at all - there was no start of flavor you expect - just light airy smoke without much at all - this may sound like the perfect smoke for some and it might well be - just not for my palate. Burn was uneven and smoke was scarce. The appearance was nice and even with few large veins. Yet, I must admit this cigar turns bitter quick and if you don't see it coming you will be left with a downright nasty taste in your mouth!
