Review Notes: I'm a fan of the 5 Vegas Gold Series. Last night as I sat under the stars on an unseasonalbly warm evening, I had my first Nugget. It looked good and I couldn't wait to smoke in the new month. Infortunately, if I had been blindfolded, I would never have believed I was smoking a 5 Vegas Gold. The first half was an acid-spice, that was harsh and bitter. What happen to my 5 Vegas Gold mellow, creamy, toasty flavors? I believe the harshness of this cigar was actually making me ill. Finally about half way through the cigar, the taste turned to what I remember as "Gold". It was a little late as the terrible aftertaste of the first half lingered with me. My flavor rating is a compromise of the two halves, but the the harshness in reality ruined this cigar for me. Maybe, I just got a bad one or a dud. Because I know how good a 5 Vegas Gold can be, so I'll stick to the robusto and the other sizes.
