Review Notes: Yes, the Exodus 1959 Torpedo is a flawed cigar. Yes, the last third the flavor wanes a bit. Yes, it lacks complexity. Yes, the burn is a little off sometimes. But, taking all that into consideration, this is still an excellent cigar, especially when you factor in the price. It has a rich chocolate-sweet taste that I imagine a 1959 Cuban might have had. I've smoked these for a couple of years now and the torpedo is the best size of the group, the toro is very good but not like this baby. Last night I sat under the stars freezing by brass monkeys off, but this cigar kept me out there. Accept the weaknesses, embrace the strengths. Even the Venus de Milo is missing her limbs, but still a masterpiece - kind of like the CT Exodus 1959 Torpedo.
