Review Notes: I smoked the Gispert Robusto on a beautiful fall night under the stars in the West Virginia countryside. The crickets and cicadas were singing their songs and the two black dogs (one old, one new) weren't going too far. This was a fine smoke to go with the evening: terrific construction and a nutty, woodsy taste with a hint of tartness. The only problem was that this one started out bad, the first half inch was so bad I almost threw it out. It took another inch before that good Gispert taste came forth in all its autumn glory. It's an attractive cigar with a good burn at a terrific price, I just wish it had started as good as it finished.
