Review Notes: I'm a fan of all things Cameroon, and am partial to Dominicans as well as blends with tobaccos from lesser-used countries (ie. Peru, parts of Africa, etc). That said, this is a mild Cameroon that retains all the things that I like (ie. glorious nutty leathery aroma; very clean dry finish) while not having any of the things that I'm not keen on (ie. peppery spice & nicotine hit). The packaging (a wonderful glass jar with each stick wrapped in cedar) is super premium quality. A beautiful toothy wrapper greets the eye. The firmness of the sticks seemed to vary both between and within sticks, but nothing bad about the construction (ie. bad caps, unraveling, etc). The smoke isn't as dense as other Cameroons I've had. The ash butt is one of the best I've ever had - outrageously firm (even on the soft-feeling sticks) & very even burn. If this cigar were more consistently firm, I'd swear it was an Arturo Fuente Hemingway. When one considers price and quality, this is a tough cigar to beat, and probably my new all-time favorite. I'm very pleased with my box and definitely order more.
