I have tried both the maduro and the oscuro color wrappers (still great cigars) , but the EMS will make you skip dessert. JR is the only place I have found that makes the distinction between the three when ordering. They are clearly labeled on the box as well. I always assumed there were only two options for the darker wrapper. I have smoked the Maduros for nine years now, and there is a notable difference. (Glad I made that mistake when ordering) Let's start with price-$60.00/box on average! Great construction, excellent burn and amazing ash. (Mine sit on average for 6 months because I have boxes in rotation) Cocoa tones throughout with a mild/medium bodied flavor. The draw is smooth, the finish is long with hints of spice that fade to a cream like flavor that hards to describe. This is a $2.40 experience worth having. Back in the day this was great to smoke after a few coldies and right before the "magic hour" at the clubs. Now, it compliments my "after dinner" drinks nicely.
