Review Notes: I'm a fan of Quesada's mild smokes so I decided to pony up for a box. Fresh out the box I was disappointed with burn and harshness. The experience was like tasting glue when you were a child. (Addictive but by no means flavorful) After 6 months I was hoping the first experience was all a bad dream and I would find a spot for this Gar in my smoking rotation. I must say that this cigar is soooo mild that it is hard to detect anything but subtle tobacco flavors. You robust cigar afficiandos steer clear. This is an excellent "pre-dinner" cigar. We have all been there, feigning to smoke before a nice dinner but did not want to destroy the palate. Personally I would like to taste my NY Strip for what it is without hints of cedar, wood, or whatever. The finish is super short, the burn is average, and the draw is respectable. Heck, these sticks are cheap, the value for this experience is up there. Perfect cigar to hand out in a social setting without passing off swisher sweet quality that friends may hate you for the next morning. Let em sit, and you'll be rewarded.
