Review Notes: Not much of looker, this is the low-priced model from Montesino. Presumably this has trimmings from their more expensive smokes sandwiched in some long filler. It's got a pretty coarse and veiny wrapper, with a slapped together rumply and irregular appearance. Given the low price and rustic appearance I wasn't expecting much. But lo and behold, this stick smokes like a dream, with a nice firm draw and slow, even burn. No problem producing long sturdy columns of grey ash and lots of smoke. The flavor is excellent, with a bass line of mild buttery, coffee tingle, accented with a pinch of herbs and spices. Definitely not a powerhouse, but no wimp either. Don't let looks fool you, at $1.65 per from JR, this homely little beast is a great value!
