4. Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro Exclusivo

Do not adjust your computer screens, as this is not an error. The Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro is apparently good enough that it makes the list twice. This time, however, it’s the Exclusivo selection that is listed. The Exclusivo measures 5 1/2 x 50 and comes with all of the wonderful components of the Imperial we discussed earlier. Almost 91 percent of Puff voters said they liked the Exclusivo.
Many members called the 1964 Anniversary Maduro Exclusivo a solid cigar, while others said it was fantastic, outstanding, and great. Good construction and an even burn made the Exclusivo a popular choice, as did its flavors of spice, cream, coffee, cocoa, leather, nuts, and cedar.
5. Partagas (Cuba) Edicion Limitada 2001 Serie D No. 3

Rounding out the top five is another Cuban cigar, this time from Partagas. The Edicion Limitada 2001 Serie D No. 3 was liked by 50 percent of Puff voters. This limited edition Cuban cigar measures 5 5/8 x 46 and sports a wrapper that is aged for two years.
Good looks, a good burn, and a good draw were used to describe the Partagas Edicion Limitada 2001. It’s also said to offer plenty of complexity and sit in the full-bodied range. Some, however, said it was more on the mild end of the spectrum. Fruit, leather, earth, spice, and sweetness, were some of the main flavors listed. A good portion of the reviews said that they were happy with their box purchases.
That wraps up this look at 2012’s most popular cigars as reviewed by Puff.com’s members. 2013 promises to be an even bigger year from Puff.com, so make sure that you continue to voice your opinions on cigars both in our forums and our Member Cigar Reviews section as you smoke them so that others can get the scoop before making their purchases.
