I finally got to enjoy one of the cigars from the contest today with my girlfriends dad. A 5 Vegas Apocalypse and man, let me tell you what a fabulous cigar it was. We both enjoyed it very much for a nice Mother's Day Smoke after Dinner at Mom's . . .

It has a dark maduro wrapper that’s thick and oily. A nice sheen on the wrapper. The nice, even draw was full of thick and rich smoke.

The full flavors are were smooth, becoming slightly stronger as the cigar smoked. It was a nice slow, even burn.

The cigar was full of toasty notes, and a nice hint of earthiness that stayed with you the entire smoke. This cigar was not bitter at all from start to finish.

It is a beautiful cigar.
