If I had to pick one word to describe the flavor of the Alec Bradley Filthy Hooligan, it would be complex.  The first third is a blend of spice, earth, and sweetness.  The second third continues with the spice and also offers notes of cream and cedar.  I detect some citrus here as well.  The final third is a mix of creaminess, grass, wood, and earth.  Needless to say, this is anything but a boring cigar.

I was thoroughly impressed by the Alec Bradley Black Market Filthy Hooligan in all aspects.  The cigar had a wonderful presentation and overall theme, and its solid construction and flavors were enjoyable.  A single sells for $8, but if you want to purchase this unique cigar in higher quantities, look for a box of 22.  The boxes look great and come packed with solid cigars from a reputable brand.  Just don’t wait too long, as only 2,000 boxes have been produced.

The Alec Bradley Black Market Filthy Hooligan earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars.

Cain Daytona Maduro Figurado

alt

The Cain Daytona Maduro Figurado is not a regular production cigar.  Basically, it was released as part of a promotional sampler during events that made up the Studio Tobac Tour that was launched last summer in Tampa, Florida.  Besides the Cain Daytona Maduro, other cigars that made up Studio Tobac’s Limited Edition Sampler were the Nub USA 460, Cain F Maduro 550, ST-EFGO1 550, ST-OO2 650, and the Cain Daytona Lancero.  You’ll notice that the two ST cigars listed have rather odd names.  That is due to the fact that they are test blends that have never been released.

Measuring in at 6 5/8 x 60, the Cain Daytona Maduro Figurado is quite a large cigar.  It has a Nicaraguan Ligero filler, and the binder is Nicaraguan as well.  Topping it off is a San Andres Maduro wrapper.  Strength-wise, the Daytona Maduro Figurado is listed as full-bodied.

How is this even a review? You didn't say anything about the AB other than the fact that you lit it on fire...
