The Timeless Dominican Hermoso sports a chocolate brown wrapper with a decent amount of oil. Some medium-sized veins are present, but I see no major imperfections. It feels smooth to the touch and appears to be packed well with tobacco. A nice large binder displays the Nat Sherman name and has a vintage look as if it was designed back in the 1930s or 40s. Prior to lighting, I sense an aroma of chocolate and an earthy flavor.
The burn of the Nat Sherman Timeless is about as good as you could expect from a cigar. The draw is just right and a nice volume of smoke is produced. The light gray ash is solid. No touch-ups or re-lights are needed at all.
The flavor profile of the Timeless Dominican Hermoso begins with a first third characterized by sweetness and chocolate. Earth comes into the mix in the second third, as do coffee and nuts. The final third is a mixture of chocolate, coffee, and sweetness. I wouldn’t call the Timeless Dominican too complex, but it is very smooth and tasty with the flavors that it does bring to the table.
I enjoyed the Nat Sherman Timeless Dominican. It went well with my cup of coffee and I could see it as a great cigar early in the day. A single sells for around $7, which is not too bad considering the quality you receive in return. You can also find it in packs of five or boxes of 20.
The Nat Sherman Timeless Dominican Hermoso earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars.
