The Alec Bradley Maxx Brazil is rather smooth, but it is anything but boring. Cedar, sweetness, and earth take control in the first third. The second third offers more sweetness, plus some spice and creamy notes. The final third is a pleasant blend of sweetness, cedar, leather, coffee, and cream.
I really enjoyed the Alec Bradley Maxx Brazil. It’s another great cigar from the brand that scores well in terms of its appearance, burn, and flavor. At around $4 per single, I’d call this a cigar that represents a very solid value. Give it a try with your morning coffee for a nice way to start off the day. Look for the Maxx Brazil in packs of five or boxes of 20.
The Alec Bradley Maxx Brazil Robusto earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.
La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Reserva Maximo

La Aroma de Cuba cigars come to us from the folks at Ashton. They are also described as being one of the hottest cigar brands in the industry. With Don Pepin Garcia as the main man behind their production, it’s no wonder why La Aroma de Cuba cigars are so popular. The Mi Amor Reserva line is made by Don Pepin Garcia and his son Jaime at the family’s cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. It’s said to be bold and full of flavor, which are two descriptions that are definitely music to my ears. I decided to try the Maximo format for this review, so let’s see how it does, shall we?
The Maximo size of the Mi Amor Reserva line measures 5.5 x 54. There are three other sizes in the line: the 5.625 x 48 Beso, 6.25 x 52 Divino, and the 6.875 x 50 Romantico. The cigar's filler and binder are made up of Nicaraguan tobaccos. The wrapper is Mexican Cuban Seed Oscuro. The cigar is listed as being full-bodied in strength. I kept this in mind prior to smoking the Mi Amor Reserva and made sure I did not have an empty stomach.
