Moving on to the appearance of the Corojo Limitada Churchill from Kristoff, the cigar has a dark brown wrapper with a look that is rustic overall.  There are some moderate veins, but I notice no major imperfections.  The wrapper extends just beyond the foot and is tucked in, which gives the cigar a bit of a unique look.  There’s also a pigtail cap.  There are no soft spots.  A simple band near the head displays the Kristoff name.  As for the pre-light aroma, it is spicy.  The cold taste, however, is sweet.

After lighting the Corojo Limitada Churchill with little effort, the cigar burns well.  It acts as if it wants to stray, but manages to correct itself with the burn.  The white ash is a tad flaky.  No re-lights are needed.  Overall, I can't complain in this department.

The flavor profile of the Kristoff Corojo Limitada is definitely spicy, but it is not a powerhouse that will bowl you over.  The first third features a mix of sweet and spicy notes.  The spice kicks up a notch in the second third and blends with creaminess and cedar.  The final third is a blend of wood, sweetness, and nuts.  Strength is pretty much medium to full-bodied, giving you just a bit of a kick but smoothness at the same time.

After smoking the Kristoff Corojo Limitada, I can see why the cigar has managed to gain high ratings.  It passes the review test in all departments – appearance, burn, and flavor.  I’d recommend it to fans of Nicaraguan tobacco that are looking for something spicy.  I would not recommend it to beginners.  A single is pricey at around $9 each, so I wouldn’t buy it as a frequent selection.  You can also find it in packs of five or boxes of 20.

The Kristoff Corojo Limitada Churchill earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.
