For a mild cigar, Berger & Argenti loaded the Mooch Loll with a good amount of flavor. The first third is a smooth mix of cedar, sweetness, creaminess, and mild tobacco. The second third introduces some pepper to awaken your senses, but its nothing too strong. Rich nuts also come into play here. In the final third, the pepper dissipates and gives way to creaminess and coffee.

The Mooch Loll was a nice smoke in every aspect. It’s not the greatest medium-bodied cigar I’ve tried, but it definitely was smooth and creamy. The cigar comes in packs of five or bundles of 24, with a single averaging around $4 each. When you combine the smooth profile with the affordable price, the Mooch is a great choice as an everyday cigar. It’s mild enough for beginners as well.

The Berger & Argenti Mooch Loll earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.

Tatuaje 7th Capa Especial

The 7th Capa Especial is one of the newer releases from Pete Johnson at Tatuaje. The cigar is the third installment in Tatuaje’s 7th series. The first two came with an Ecuadorian Habano and Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers. The Capa Especial changes things up with a wrapper of its own to offer a unique flavor profile.

The 7th Capa Especial is a Grand Corona that measures 5 5/8 x 46. As far as I can tell, that’s the only size in the line. The cigar has a filler and binder that consist of Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Sumatra wrapper is Capa Especial’s highlight, and is what distinguishes it from previous 7th series releases, as mentioned before. In terms of strength, the 7th Capa Especial falls into the full-bodied category.
