Carlos Toraño Cameroon 1916
Wrapper: Cameroon
Binder: Havana Seed Nicaraguan
Filler:Honduras & Nicaragua
Storage:70-72%RH at 75-80f
Construction:Beeaaauutiful cigar - I love the labels on all of the premiums
Torano makes. Torano's attention to detail amazes me. They only accent the
perfect wrapper tobacco used. This silky cameroon with its oily sheen was
nothing short of amazing. From the color of the wrapper to the feel of the
cigar, this one goes in my perfect list.
Prelight:The 1916, as I will call it, had a wonderful earthy scent with a hint
of cedar.
Burn:Perfect burn from foot to nub, a touch of a slow burn it took a little over
an hour to finish this one
Draw:So far the entire Toraño line has been on the money with my taste in draw,
a bit tight but just enough flow to get a good amount of smoke.
Drink:Kona Coffee with a bit of cream and sugar
Smoking Notes: This smoke was wonderful, a nice spice delivered with a touch of
sweetness. The woody cedar taste came through as well
Overall Impression: Another very nice cigar brought to us by the gents over at
Toraño, I suggest everyone try this stick. Perfect burn, great flavor and medium
bodied which came closer to full toward the end.
