Carlos Toraño Casa Toraño
Wrapper: Ecuador Connecticut
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Honduras, Nicaragua and a family blend of Central & South American
Tobaccos
Storage:70-72%RH at 75-80f
Construction: The light brown connecticut wrapper cigar was immaculate in
shape color and finish. Not one soft spot in any of the 3 I have smoked. The
wrapper was very silky in appearance with a touch of an oily sheen
Prelight: This cigar had a mild to medium scent, a touch of leather on
the nose
Burn: This cigar started a bit uneven but quickly evened out within the
first inch of smoking
Draw: In consistency of the other Toraño's I have smoked this cigar had
a perfect draw
Drink: Water
Smoking Notes: This cigar progresses in flavor and body as you smoke it.
It started off with subtle hints of leather and spice with a mild to medium
body. A touch of cedar comes in about half way and then it graduated to a much
spicier leather taste towards the end.
Overall Impression: When starting this smoke I thought I may be
dissappointed with this smoke. The flavor was good just not too enough to please
my palate. Then about an inch into the smoke it gradually went from mild to a
ending with a medium almost full body with plenty of flavor. I ended up really
enjoying the finish. Another Toraño nubbed.
