Wrapper: dark colorado Habano, almost maduro colored
Binder:Honduran
Filler:Dominican, Honduran, Mexican, Nicaraguan and Costa Rican
Storage:70-72%RH at 75-80f
Construction:The wrapper is slightly oily and the construction is beautiful. Completely flawless rich brown wrapper. I love the box-pressed look of this cigar.
Prelight:This cigar smells of roasted coffee, a hint of spicyness to my nose
Burn:Like all other Torano Cigars, perfect burn. Silver to white ash stiff enough to stand over an inch
Draw: Nice, a bit tight for some people, but thats what comes from a box press cigar sometimes.
Drink: Hazelnut Flavored Coffee from Gevalia
Smoking Notes:I noticed some cedar hints along with the roasted esspresso and cocoa. Definately full flavor but not full body
Overall Impression:I tried this cigar after recieving the Torano interview back. Carlos Torano himself prefers this cigar so I thought it deserved a try. This is an amazing cigar from start to finish.
