Somehow I think I may have saved the best Cigar.com Churchill to be the last of my 5 I tested. The Cigar.com website labels this cigar as follows:
The Cuban Label has been blended to match the taste and quality of the legendary Cuban brands. We use the best quality Dominican Filler and Binder. The Cuban Label gets most of its character from our special Sumatran-seed Sun Grown Ecuadorian wrapper. We then used the expert rollers at the famous Tabodom Factory in the Dominican Republic to craft this low priced masterpiece. It is this magical combination that gives the Cigar.com Cuban Label its peppery-complex taste. Note: These are Dominican Cigars, blended to match Cuban Cigars.
Wrapper: Sun Grown Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder: Dominican
Filler:Dominican
Storage:70-72%RH at 75-80f
Construction:Perfect construction -Flawless wrapper
Prelight: a slight oily texture. almost a leathery tobacco scent
Burn:I have almost never seen a cigar light this easy. I started toasting the cigar and it was lit. To top that it burned nice and even through almost all 7.75 inches
Draw:A bit easy to me but still excellent, no inconsistencies
Drink:Ice Cold Water, 107 degree heat index, I would choose nothing else
Smoking Notes: This cigar started off with a nice bold leathery spice that only grew more complex as I smoked further.
Overall Impression: Excellent from start to finish, I now remember why I like the full bodied taste of a "Cuban" blend. I do prefer a nice corojo or cameroon wrapper, but this cigar definately makes my list to buy again.
