Cigar.com Purple Label Churchill
Wrapper: Connecticut
Binder:Dominican
Filler:Dominican
Storage:70-72%RH at 75-80f
Construction:Almost perfect connecticut wrapperwith a few minor imperfections. Nothing too suprising from a house cigar from cigar.com
Prelight:Somewhat nice but slightly musky odor. A hint or slight touch of a woody scent
Burn:Every Cigar.com smoke I have had so far has had an either perfect or almost perfect burn. This one was no exception. The only defect I could find was that the ash was white with a few black chunks. The light was really easy, just a couple of seconds off the cedar
Draw: A little loose for me, I like the draw a bit tight.
Drink:Broadway House Blend Coffee from Kansas City's Broadway Cafe - Shipped in special (Good Stuff)
Smoking Notes:This cigar started off with some nice woody hints slowly progressing to a distinct cedar smell with plenty of spice. A very nice cigar for the price
Overall Impression:
"This cigar can be described as well balanced with a deep rich wood flavor from beginning to end and a pleasant lingering aroma. " This is how Cigar.com describes it. I would have to agree.
