Cuesta Rey Centro Fino Sungrown Torpedo
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sun Grown
Binder:Dominican Republic
Filler:Dominican Republic
Storage:70-72%RH at 75-80f
Construction:They refer to it as Pyramid #9, but this baby is a beautiful smooth
rich brown Torpedo. It has a very firm feel to the touch with a flawless
wrapper.
Prelight:This cigar has a leathery musk smell on the prelight,
Burn:I toasted this baby around 6 this evening and smoked it until a few moments
ago. The burn was even from toast to nub, never burning too hot, just right
Draw:Despite how firm this little guy is, it has a very easy draw that firmed up
a little toward the last half of the smoke
Drink:Water
Smoking Notes:I found this ciigar started off with a nice leathery, cedar taste
which only grew in strength. Eventually turning into a spicy leather taste about
half way through. Finishing off with a even stronger leather spice flavor
Overall Impression:Wow,a nice strong cigar, definately full bodied. I love these
sungrown Cuesta Reys, they make my mouth water everytime I smoke one. I would
definately put this stogie in my top 10 favorites. A Special thanks to Jessica
