The good news is that the cigars are slightly better.  All of the flavors I’d seen earlier have blended nicely over the decade long slumber.  I was expecting them to have completely mellowed out, but was happily surprised to find out that they still maintained they’re bite.  The rich Dominican flavors were still present along with the spicy relevance of the Ecuadorian wrapper.  If I had written this review before I saw the outrageous price people were trying to get for the cigar I’d say it had matured into a world class representation of a Davidoff cigar.  I suppose if you throw price of the question, this is absolutely a joy to smoke after 10 years.

Surprisingly sitting in a humidor for 10 years has done no harm to the construction, seems to have blended the flavors advantageously, and offered a glimpse into the fact that find tobaccos can age as well as fine wines.

It should be no surprise that the smaller ring gauge versions of the cigar packed a bit more punch in their limited size.  Although the ample length of all three of these cigars (8 ¾ x 50, 7 ¼ x 48, 6 1/8 x 43) allowed for the smoking experience to last well over 90 minutes.  There were no construction issues with any of the cigars I smoked.  In fact the consistency I experienced in every one of the cigars was absolutely amazing.  I can’t claim to know the effects age has on construction, but if the cigars are any indication that tobacco must tend to relax and allow for a perfect draw and a consistent burn.

Since I’ve only been smoking cigars for about 15 years, I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to compare cigars after a decade long slumber.  I can see where this could be an addictive comparison, as it sure was fun looking back at my notes from 10 years ago and comparing them to my experience as of today.  This is definitely encouraged me to go digging to the cigar humidor for any other lost treasures.  I highly suggest you do the same, and if you come across some of the Davidoff Millennium Collection, it will be well worth your time digging.
