The easiest way to describe the look of the Paul Garmirian Symphony 20 is to say that it's very attractive and looks like a quality cigar.  The cigar's decorative bands catch the eye with their gold, red, and white color schemes.  The top band features the Paul Garmirian name and logo, while the second band showcases the Symphony 20 name in cursive.  The cigar itself has a beautiful wrapper that looks quite smooth.  There's also quite a bit of oil that is visible.  Only a few small veins run up and down the body, and the cigar feels fairly firm to the touch.  There are no major imperfections, and it appears to have solid construction. Before lighting, there's a slight aroma and cold taste that are both sweet.

The Symphony 20 burns well from beginning to end.  The draw is satisfactory and the ash is white and long.  The burn is even and requires no help from my lighter in the form of touch-ups or re-lights.

The flavor in the Symphony 20 is complex and satisfying.  From start to finish, the cigar churns out varying flavors to keep your senses entertained.  Some sweetness is first detected, and it's followed by cedar.  Halfway through, nuts and earth appear.  The last third consists of a distinct tobacco flavor and some rich leather.  The cigar seems to be more medium than full-bodied, and is not too strong.

The Paul Garmirian brand was not lying when they promised that this was a superb cigar.  The flavors are outstanding, and there's never a dull moment to be had.  The cigar looked great as well and had no burn issues.  The main problem with the Symphony 20 line is its cost.  A single 20 sells for around $13, depending on where you shop.  At that price point, it's not really an everyday cigar.  Then again, it is a limited production cigar.  Other sizes can go up to as much as $21 per single.  I guess it’s true that you get what you pay for, and with the Symphony 20, you get a quality product.

The Paul Garmirian Symphony 20 earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars.
