Rating: A

Construction Comments:
Nice. Felt a bit hard, which made the draw a bit tight. It ended up not being much of an issue.
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Very good. Woody & earthy.
Burn:
Decent. I needed to touch it up a few times.
Drink:
Coors Light
Smoking Notes:
This cigar started off with a great creamy, leathery blast. It was just complex enough to make it interesting & provided some nice subtle spice from time to time. I liked the ease with which this cigar smoked, that is to say, it was easy to pick up all the flavors. There was nothing “lurking” beneath the surface to tease me, you know a flavor that is there & gone before you can really identify or enjoy it.
Overall Experience and Rating:
I really liked this cigar!! I believe I have had it before, but can’t put my finger on exactly what it is. This was by far the best of the blind cigars I have had yet. This is one I would highly recommend to eveyone. This is an easy grade for me…A.

Rating: B+

Construction Comments:
Nice medium dark wrapper, a little darker than milk chocolate. Smooth construction, no major veins and a smooth cap.
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Woody and slightly nutty.
Burn:
Easy two match light, very smooth draw.
Drink:
Hennessey cognac
Smoking Notes:
Initial tastes – Initially, this cigar has started out great. It had a real easy light, smooth draw and produces a good volume of tasty smoke. Woody in flavor with hints of spice and maybe some nuttiness? Very nutty aftertaste. I’m not sure why, but it did go out on me about 1/3 of the way through. A quick relight and purge and it was going good again though. It’s maintained the same smooth flavor and draw up til this point. I’m enjoying this cigar quite a bit so far. About 2/3 through the cigar now and I’m still enjoying it. It’s gained a little strength, but not much. The woody flavor is more of just a hint now, with the nuttiness taking over as well as a slight aftertaste that I can’t put a finger on, but enjoy nevertheless. It’s held a good solid medium grey ash throughout the smoke. The only reason I dropped it at about 1.5 inches was for the relight.
Overall Experience and Rating:
This was an above average cigar to me. I’d rate it as medium bodied with good flavor. It held a good ash and produced lots of creamy smoke. I smoked it to a nub which is always a sign that I’ve enjoyed the smoke. I would definitely buy this cigar and will rate it a strong B+.

Construction Comments:
Slightly veiny, doesn’t look oily, feels solid (not spongy).
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Smells good, kind of oily but hard to put a finger on. Tastes like dry wood (toothpick). Good cut with a medium draw.
Burn:
Very even. Started to drift/travel about 1.5” in, but corrected itself very fast. Ash was grayish/white.
Drink:
Diet Coke w/Lime
Smoking Notes:
Holy smoke. This stick produced a ton of smoke during light up that started to blind me. Draw was very good, not too loose or tight. Started off with a slight leathery smell/taste that blended into a predominately cedar taste to it. Smell reminded me of a fire as well. About half way through there was a light oil taste mixed in to the cedar and lost the leather part.
Overall Experience and Rating:
This was a great cigar. I enjoyed it to the very end. This one had a lot of flavor, but not a huge bite. There was a lot of smoke throughout the cigar that was thick and a nice creamy (Like the head on a Guinness) color. I tend to like my cigars with a lot of bite, but this one was really smooth. I would say the difference is like that between a Double IPA and a Guinness. The Double IPA tends to punch you in the mouth and let you know it is there, but a Guinness is nice and smooth. I like both beers, but usually would go with a double IPA as an everyday beer, just like my cigars. This would be a great go to smooth cigar. The cigar felt like it was going to be a mild nicotine experience, but hit me pretty well at the end. I would put this as one of the best cigars I have had so far and look forward to another sometime in the future. Rate it at a solid A.

Rating: D

Construction Comments:
Firm, no soft spots, tiny veins made for a nice initial impression.
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Smelled like a cigarette.
Burn:
Odd. The ash ‘split’ perpendicular to the length every 1/8-1/4 inch. You could see through to the other side at the splits. Imagine a hot dog that was sliced half way through.
Drink:
Pilsner Urquell
Smoking Notes:
Harsh on the first light. Rich, but like a rich cigarette (I don’t smoke cigs). Stayed harsh even with purging every few times. Chucked it half way through.
Overall Experience and Rating:
D
