e.p. carrilloe.p. carrillo elencos series

There is an abundance of flavor packed into the E.P. Carrillo Elencos Series too.  A sweet flavor of raisins kicks things off, and mild spice appears next.  The spice intensifies into full-bodied mode in the second third.  There are some hints of leather, wood, as well as terrific cherry flavor.  Some nuts add a nice touch to the mix as well.

In simple terms, the E.P. Carrillo Elencos Series Elites was excellent.  The burn was perfect, and it is one flavorful cigar.  It probably falls more towards full-bodied, so it may be too strong for some beginners.  If you are an experience smoker looking for something flavorful and full-bodied, definitely give this one a try.  A single goes for around $11, which is not cheap, but consider the quality of the cigar.  You can also find the Elencos Series in packs of five and boxes of 20.

The E.P. Carrillo Elencos Series earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars

CAO Flavours Bella Vanilla Corona

alt

As you can tell by its name, the CAO Flavours line of cigars is all about – flavor.  The Flavours line is divided into several releases, such as the Earth Nectar, Cherry Bomb, Gold Honey, Caramelo Joe, Moontrance, and Eileen’s Dream.  For this review, I will be giving the Bella Vanilla a try.  I do love vanilla, but I am wondering if this cigar will be too sweet for my liking.  Well, there’s only one way to find out if it is, and that is to light it up, so here goes nothing…

The CAO Flavours Bella Vanilla Corona measures 5 1/4 x 42.  The line is offered in other sizes as well, such as the 4 x 30 Cigarillo 5/10, 4 x 38 Petit Corona, 5 x 48 Robusto, and the 4 3/4 x 30 Tubo.  The cigar has a filler blend of Nicaraguan Cuban Seed tobaccos that are imbued with natural vanilla bean extracts that come from a place known for having some of the best vanilla in the world - Madagascar.  The binder is also Nicaraguan.  Topping off each cigar is an African Cameroon wrapper.  Regarding strength, the Bella Vanilla is considered to be a smoother offering from the brand and falls into the mild-bodied category.
