It's hard to not be impressed by the presentation of the AVO LE10. The cigar exudes class from top to bottom. The wrapper is dark and oily. There are very few minor veins that are visible, and it appears to be as smooth as can be. The cigar feels firm to the touch and has zero soft spots. There are two decorative bands that catch the eye. The top band features the AVO logo, while the bottom band features the Limited Edition label surrounding a silhouette of Uvezian himself. For added flair, a shiny silver color is incorporated into both bands. As for the pre-light aroma and taste, I am getting sweet and earthy, respectively.

There are no real negatives when it comes to the LE10's burn. The draw is superb and there's a nice volume of smoke. The burn does seem as if it wants to stray a bit, but it corrects itself without any intervention from my lighter. In all, zero touch-ups or re-lights are needed. The ash is solid and gray in color. The contrast between its color and the dark wrapper is aesthetically appealing.

Flavor is where the AVO LE10 really hits a home run. The cigar is full-bodied, but it's also full-flavored. Luckily, I ate a full meal beforehand. The LE10 kicks things off with some spiciness that is soon joined by coffee and earth. The spicy kick continues into the second third and blends with wood and sweetness. The final third combines earth and chocolate for a tasty finish. Full-bodied? Yes. Overbearing? Not at all.

The AVO LE10 has it all. Great looks, solid burn, and fantastic flavor. As mentioned, this is not a cigar you want to light up on an empty stomach. It's a great treat after a full meal when you want to wind down the day on a positive note. As expected, the price is high. A single retails for around $15, so this is probably a smoke for a special occasion for most. That being said, if you enjoy full-bodied Ligero smokes with plenty of flavor, do not let the price tag discourage you. Save up your pennies and pick up an AVO LE10. It's also offered in boxes of ten.

The AVO LE10 earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars.
