Gurkha Genghis Khan Toro 6.0 x 50
Wrapper: Costa Rican Maduro
Filler: Dominican, Honduran
Storage: 67RH 65-70F
Construction: Beautiful dark brown maduro wrapper with very minor veining. Nice
and firm. Nice oily feel.
Prelight: Some spice with sweet notes. Medium draw.
Burn: Lit evenly. Started to stray, but it soon fixed itself. Nice medium dark
ash that held for over an inch and a half.
Smoking notes: The first few puffs were slightly sweet. Almost like bittersweet
chocolate. Then it shifted to a smoky tobacco flavor. It continued in this
profile until the last 2 inches when the sweetness came back with a vengence.
Very nice mocha "esque."
Overall Impression: I've smoked a few Gurkhas in my short time of smoking, and I
loved them all. This was no exception.
This cigar comes in two sizes. The toro size is available in fivers and singles.
