I love the perfecto. I like the way they look, the way
they smoke, I like the different flavors you taste between the start an finish.
Anyway here goes
Overall construction was very good not too veiny and had a nice leathery look
and feel
Easy light and a perfect draw. I did have to touch it up with the torch a couple
of times but it has been my experience this is not uncommon with perfectos or
figurados.
With the first couple of draws it put a nice bite on my toungue and I could feel
a little heavyness in my stomach. First impression was that this was going to be
a powerful full bodied smoke. It really mellowed out after it reached the fatter
regions of the cigar. It had nice white smoke and a fairly tight ash that held
pretty good to about 3/4 of an inch. In my opinion it was not very complex after
the first inch or so and I was a little disapointed with the over all cigar. For
what is concidered by some to be a top shelf brand I was not impressed. They do
look nice out of their cello and resting in a tray of your humidor. Maybe they
just need a little more age. I guess eight years is not enough!
