There's a good amount of flavor packed into this small package. The Felicias Maduro begins with a blast of spicy pepper that awakens my senses. This is joined by some wood and cedar. The second third continues with more pepper that gives way to rich chocolate. I'd say that the halfway point of the cigar is its boldest. The final third has milder spice mixed with some sweetness. Nice transitions and variety make the experience enjoyable from beginning to end.

I enjoyed the Reserva Figurados Felicias Maduro. The combination of flavors was very interesting, and there were no real complaints to document. It seems like the perfect little smoke for a lunch break or when you need your tobacco fix. A single sells for about $5 each, and the cigar also comes in packs of five or boxes of 20. Not bad at all.

The La Gloria Cubana Reserva Figurados Felicias Maduro earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.

5 Vegas Cask-Strength II

5 Vegas' Cask-Strength II is one of the bolder blends from the brand. While the cigar is said to be bold, it supposedly remains smooth at the same time, offering full flavor in the process. I'm a sucker for full-flavored cigars, so I hope this Cask-Strength II I'm about to light up lives up to the hype.

The 5 Vegas Cask-Strength II comes in a 6 x 52 Toro size. It's the only offering in the line, and it should be noted that it is box-pressed as well. The cigar's composition is quite complex, as it has a filler of Peruvian, Jamastran Ligero, and Nicaraguan Ligero tobaccos. A Dominican Corojo binder comes next, and a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper is the final piece of the puzzle. The Cask-Strength II does have some kick to it, and is listed as being medium to full-bodied in strength.
