We're not sure what you expect when you see a maduro wrapped cigar? Maybe a touch more flavor, irresistible good looks? You get some of each here. Looks... give it an A here. All the reviewers lamented at length about how they liked the way this looked, and the way this shaped smoke felt in their hands. As Macanudos go, this wrapper had a touch of an oil sheen, reminiscent of much more expensive cigars. Things began to dip a bit as we started comparing quality. It seems some of our samples were slightly different shaped than others. We realize this is common in "shaped" cigars, but this was on the funky side. All samples burnt well, and at an normal rate. The draw was, to quote from Goldilocks "just right". Everyone liked the flavor, no bad comments whatsoever. Everyone said it was pleasant, had a recognizable flavor, and was generally enjoyed. So now your wondering if it got this good of a review, why only a "B"? Good question. Oddly enough, none, I repeat, not one of the reviewers were sure they would spend their own money on this cigar. That alone will knock it to a "B". And will also get a few reviewers labeled as tight!
