Comments:
Very Dark cigar, large ring size. |
Pre-light
Aroma and Flavor:
Seemed to be a well wrapped cigar no flaws on it. Was very tight. |
Burn:
With the size of the Cigar it took me a little more time to get it lit
probably because of the ring size. It burned evenly and the draw was very
easy. Very Smooth Tastes with a flavor cocoa and coffee. |
Drink:
None |
Smoking Notes:
The cigar was a little strong for me and for a newby it might be to much. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
Great smoke, little to large of a ring size for me. Rating: B |

Reviewer 2: Iceman Rating: C- |
Construction Comments:
This cigar had a dappled dark brown wrapper with a bit of tooth. Very
solid. Nice looking and well made cigar. Light sheen. Cut cleanly. Robusto
size. |
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
This cigar had an earthy barnyard smell. |
Burn:
Lit very easily and evenly. A couple of touch ups were needed. This cigar
burned very nicely. Flakey grey ash. |
Drink:
Samuel Adams Hefeweizen |
Smoking Notes:
This cigar was very mild. Bland. This cigar had no real taste in the
beginning. It got a little bit of a toasty/woody taste about halfway
through. Still not a lot of flavor. The draw was very good and I got a lot
of smoke, too bad it was bland smoke. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
This cigar was very bland and dull. I wanted this cigar to get better and
it never really did. It gave me mouthfuls of dull boring smoke. Not going
to be on my list to try again. Overall Grade: C- |

Rating: A+ |
Construction
Comments:
This is a very well made cigar, packed with dark, rich tobacco. |
Pre-light Aroma and
Flavor:
Strong. It's a Maduro. Rich, and full of sweet, dark greasy leaves. I like
to savor a new cigar for a five or ten minutes before lighting it, and
this one packed a whollop. It was spicy sweet, and gave me a very pleasant
nicotine rush, even before I lit it. |
Burn:
When I lit it, I was not disappointed. It burned very even, and slowly
grew that classic thick ash. Never burned too hot, never went out. |
Drink:
Bass ale. |
Smoking Notes:
This is a good, strong cigar from the first puff to the last with a
complex mix of tastes. It started with dark rich almost nutty taste, and
finished mellow, like a stong cup of coffee. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
A+. I am going to buy more of these cigar next time I order. This i a
premium smoke, full of flavor, never harsh or hot, even at the end. |

Reviewer 4: zitotczito Rating: B |
Construction Comments:
This cigar sported a dark and oily maduro wrapper, smooth with very little
noticeable veins. The cigar was both firm and soft in spots. The
construction as far as the outer wrapper is concerned was very good. |
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Straight cut that left no pieces in my mouth on the pre-light draw. The
aroma was sweet and earthy. |
Burn:
After a slight toast and torch light, the burn was not the straightest and
followed the soft spots deviating as much as 1/3 of an inch at times. But
considering the off burn, no touch ups were needed during the smoke and
that did amaze me. I contribute that to the medium weight maduro wrapper
which allowed the burn to continue unabated even though off center. The
smoke volume was very good although the draw was a little tight at times,
that did not take away from the enjoyment. |
Drink:
Diet Vanilla Dr. Pepper |
Smoking Notes:
I was an easy torch and the draw was to me a little tight, but not a
distraction. The cigar had a sweet woody flavor and is medium-full in
strength to me and by strength I mean in flavor. The cigar moved from a
medium-full flavor to mild and back again to medium-full. The flavor
coated the mouth with a pleasing sweet Taste and there was an sver so
slight spice at the end. The cigar burned off center much of the way until
the end when it became straight after passing the soft spots. The burn was
cool until the end when it got a little wet and I contribute that to the
maduro wrapper and it being a bit moist as I should probably have put it
in the dry box another day. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
I enjoyed this cigar considering the nice sweet woody flavor and due to
the fact that I love most Maduro's which makes me a little bias. I would
rate this cigar a B due to the really nice maduro wrapper and flavor. I
did not consider the off burn a problem and it did not affect the taste. I
do have to admit that Kevin spilled the beans on what the cigar was and it
worked out somewhat well since I have some but have never smoked them. I
am not a fan of larger ring gauges so I have put off trying them. But it
was a pleasant surprise and I enjoyed it. I would have no problem smoking
these again or sharing them with others. |

Pre-light Aroma and
Flavor:
Nice |
Burn:
Burn was nice and it did not travel at all. |
Drink:
Water & Vodka Shots |
Smoking Notes:
This cigar has a huge ring gauge, yet it was to small to be an Amenso. I
still did a straight cut with this stick and only took a few mm’s and had
a perfect draw from the get-go. Upon the first touch of a torch, I had
that epiphany from the aroma that I had smoked this before ... BLIP ...
Alec Bradley! Is what came to mind… Great flavor. It was very one
dimensional, which is not a bad, as I enjoyed it and it did not change or
get complex at all. And I realized that because it didn’t change and
stayed true through the entire smoke is one of the nice qualities I
enjoyed about the smoking experience. The ash was not very dense and did
not hold as tight as cigar, but it did purge/vent/clear very easy and was
able to get to that nice thick smoke easy and with little effort. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
Overall this cigar would be a STRONG C+ to B-. Very enjoyable. |
