There's a good amount of flavor packed into Montecristo Epic. The cigar begins with a blast of spicy pepper and earth that awakens my senses. The second third continues with more pepper that gives way to earth, coffee, and cocoa. I'd say that the halfway point of the cigar is its boldest. The final third transitions to cream and nuts. Nice transitions and variety make the experience enjoyable from beginning to end.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Montecristo Epic Toro. The combination of flavors was very interesting, and there were zero complaints to document. It seems like the perfect smoke for a special occasion or when you want to unwind after a nice dinner. A single sells for about $14 each, which is not cheap by any means. Still, give one a shot if you are an experienced smoker seeking a full-bodied and full-flavored cigar. You can also find the Epic in boxes of 10.

The Montecristo Epic Toro earns a rating of 3.75 out of four stars.

Oliva Serie G Maduro Robusto

I have had the pleasure of enjoying several Oliva cigars in the past, so I decided to go out and purchase one of the brands Serie G Maduro cigars without any hesitation. With an affordable price attached to a cigar from such a quality brand, I felt comfortable with this purchase, and was quite anxious to go ahead and light it up, as many of the reviews I have read on the Serie G Maduro have been favorable ones.

The Oliva Serie G Maduro Robusto measures 4 1/2 x 50. The line is also offered in many other sizes: the 5 x 52 Belicoso, 5 1/2 x 54 Perfecto, 6 x 52 Torpedo, 7 x 50 Churchill, and the 8 x 52 Presidente. The cigar’s filler is made up of Nicaraguan Habano tobacco, while the binder is Cuban Seed Habano. The wrapper is of the Connecticut Broadleaf variety. As far as strength is concerned, the Serie G Maduro is said to be medium-bodied.
