As I expected, Don Pepin did a great job in creating a cigar here that provides complexity and some very rich flavors. The cigar kicks off with some sweetness that is soon joined by earthy tones. Things get kicked up a notch when spicy pepper dominates in the second third. The pepper stays consistent until it gives way to a superb dark chocolate flavor in the final third.
I had faith that I would enjoy the Le Bijou 1922 Toro, and once it was all said and done, I was not disappointed. The cigar's complexity and flavor transitions were definitely enjoyable. It also looked fantastic and had a mostly solid burn. The Le Bijou offers some power without reaching the point of being overly harsh. This makes it an attractive choice for experienced cigar fans looking for a full-bodied stick to add to their smoking arsenal. Fans of Nicaraguan cigars would also enjoy it. The only downside of this tasty My Father selection is its price. At $10 to $11, it's a bit expensive for an everyday smoke. That's a shame, because it is something that I would not mind having on a frequent basis. Regardless, it's at least worthy of a single purchase for a special occasion. If you want to stock up on it, you can find the Le Bijou in packs of five or boxes of 23.
The My Father Le Bijou 1922 Toro earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.
Tatuaje Verocu Tubos

Pete Johnson of Tatuaje Cigars released the Verocu Tubos back in 2009. The cigar was an extension of the Havana VI line, and, as you can probably tell, comes in some spiffy tubed packaging. Both a Black and a Red version hit the shelves, but we will be concentrating on the Verocu Red in this review.
The Verocu Tubos is a Torpedo that measures 6 1/8 x 52. It's filler, binder, and wrapper are all made from Nicaraguan tobaccos, which gives it the distinction of being a puro. The cigar's production also takes place in Nicaragua. As far as strength is concerned, the Verocu Tubos is said to be full-bodied.
Comments
I can not say enough about this cigar and I advise anyone who is reading this comment to try one. I bought a single cigar from a local cigar shop in Reston, VA for about $10, but my God it was worth every single penny I spent on it. I give it 12 out of 10.
Every humidor should have a box of these beautiful cigars.
