perdomo cuban bullet version 2.0

Perdomo usually produces attractive cigars, and the Cuban Bullet Version 2.0 is no exception. It has a chocolate brown wrapper that has a slight sheen of oil. There are some moderate veins, but construction seems to be solid overall. The cigar feels firm to the touch and has zero soft spots. A nice silver, black, and red band sits near the head that really stands out. Prior to lighting, there is an aroma and cold taste that are both earthy.

After striking it with a match, the Cuban Bullet Version 2.0 burns without any problems whatsoever. The draw is nice and easy and there is an ample volume of smoke. The solid white ash that's formed looks great. The burn is even from start to finish, and touch-ups and re-lights are not necessary.

Moving into the flavor department, the Cuban Bullet Version 2.0 is enjoyable, but not unforgettable. Its first third is filled with earthy and creamy flavors. The second third offers a blend of spice and wood. The final third continues the spicy theme until the cigar is finished.

I did not fall in love with the second generation of the Cuban Bullet, but it was not bad either. It had solid construction, a solid burn, and a decent mix of flavors. As with the Nick's Sticks line, the best feature of the Cuban Bullet Version 2.0 seems to be its price. At about $3.50 per single, it's very affordable. It comes in boxes of 20, and is not a bad choice if you are a fan of medium-bodied cigars who is in the need for something that is easy on your wallet.

The Cuban Bullet Version 2.0 earns a rating of three out of four stars.
