Comments:
Pretty good. A very nice looking cigar that felt nice in my hand & made it
obvious that it was not a cheapo. |
Pre-light
Aroma and Flavor:
Slightly sweet tobacco taste. |
Burn:
GREAT!!! I mean Razor sharp from start to finish. |
Drink:
Ice water. |
Smoking Notes:
This cigar started off with a very enjoyable creamy, caramel, toasty,
cocoa, nutty flavor with a slight hint of spice. I was diggin' it quite a
bit. About an inch in I noticed that the spice disappeared & the finish
became very, very short. It was almost like those tasty flavors were
playing hide & seek with my taste buds. It really kind of sucked!! The
flavors were there, they tasted GREAT, but they barely stuck around long
enough to be enjoyed. I have only had one other cigar ever have such a
short finish. I thought the finish would come back towards the end, but no
dice. I was thoroughly bummed out. I felt like a fat girl with broken legs
at a buffet. Everything I wanted was right there, I just couldn’t get to
it. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
This was not a bad cigar. It was kind of irritating, with the short
finish, but everything else was perfect (burn, construction, etc…). I
think it deserves another chance. Maybe a little humi time would do it
some good. As far as this particular cigar goes, though, it only ranks
about a C for me. Had that finish been any longer, it would have gotten a
MUCH higher score. |

Reviewer 2: Slowburning Rating: A |
Construction Comments:
Firm, feels right in hand. Brown, chocolatey wrapper with smooth and oily
sheen. |
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Spicy, leather, toasty, caramel, and cinnamon. With the aroma and flavor,
I really didn’t want to torch it. |
Burn:
Razor sharp. Cool and slow burning throughout. |
Drink:
Green Tea |
Smoking Notes:
Lots of flavors, from brown sugar to cinnamon, and the flavors were
consistent throughout the entire time. Ash was grey-white. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
This was a medium to full bodied cigar. This will easily be one of my top
10 favorites, if not one of top 5. It smells good, burns good, with a lot
of flavors. From the moment I sniff it, I know I will like this cigar. A |

Construction
Comments:
Construction and appearance seems fine. |
Pre-light Aroma and
Flavor:
Sweet smell with an earthy unlit taster. Good pre-light draw. Xikar cut. |
Burn:
Lit easily, had an even burn with a nice draw. Firm light gray ash. |
Drink:
Coors Light |
Smoking Notes:
This cigar lit well, burned evenly and had a very detectable sweetness
about it. It was mostly a leather/sweet singularity throughout the smoke.
I detected very little spice. The wrapper gave up and split about half way
through the smoke. Toward the end it became bitter and harsh. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
I enjoyed the first half of this cigar with it's natural sweetness. It
looked good and burned ok. As I said, it split rather drastically in the
second half and this may have contributed to the rest of the undesirable
attributes this cigar possessed at the finish. My grade is a C-. |

Reviewer 4: 19redwings Rating: A |
Construction Comments:
Firm, no soft spots, tiny veins made for a nice initial impression. |
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
Musky/Loam |
Burn:
Perfect! Nuff said!. |
Drink:
Syrah |
Smoking Notes:
Fantastic flavor!! Sweetness about ¾" in. Great flavor that always had you
tasting something a little different than the previous puff. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
Yum-a-Dum-Dum!!! A |

Charlie Rating: B |
Construction
Comments:
A well made double robusto. Very thick binder, with creases. There were a
lot of twigs in the filler. |
Pre-light Aroma and
Flavor:
Strong woody tobacco flavor. |
Burn:
Very even and slow, though the cigar heated up too fast for my taste. |
Drink:
None |
Smoking Notes:
Another strong starter, which I enjoyed more before smoking it. While it
released some subtle earth tones during the smoke, it also picked up a bit
of heat. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
The aftertaste is rather strong and tobacco-y. I did not enjoy that part.
I'd give it a B. |
