When it comes to the Londres Maduro’s flavor, I can’t say that it is complex. I can say, however, that the cigar is enjoyable. The first third begins with a light dose of pepper that has me wondering if this will be a spicy stick. The pepper subsides and gives way to earth and coffee. The coffee continues into the second third and is joined by rich cocoa. This is the highlight for me. The final third brings the pepper back, but in a milder dose. There’s also a tobacco flavor that finishes off the cigar.
Overall, I found the Padron Londres Maduro to offer a solid smoking experience. As I noted earlier, it’s not a complex cigar. That did not keep me from having a good time though. I would recommend the Londres Maduro to those looking for a quality everyday smoke. It can be enjoyed with coffee in the morning, after lunch, or even after dinner. Such flexibility is a good thing. At around $3 to $4 per single, the Londres Maduro is affordable as well. You can find it in packs of 10 or boxes of 26. If you enjoy Padron cigars or just want something affordable for frequent use, you can’t really go wrong here.
The Padron Londres Maduro earns a rating of 3.5 out of four stars.
Don Pepin Garcia Vegas Cubanas Generosos

Unless you are completely new to the cigar hobby, you have probably heard of Don Pepin Garcia. He’s the man responsible for several highly rated cigars, so you can bet on having an enjoyable time if his name is stamped on the stogie you’re about to light up. It appears as if it’s my lucky day, as I am about to try Garcia’s Vegas Cubanas Generosos. The cigar is said to be smooth but filled with flavor. Does it live up to that claim and its high ratings? I can only hope so.
The Vegas Cubanas Generosos measures 6 x 50. Other sizes offered by Don Pepin in the line include the 5 x 50 Invictos, 5 ½ x 44 Corona, 6 1/8 x 52 Imperiales, 7 x 50 Delicias, and 7 5/8 x 49 Magnates. The cigar’s filler consists of Nicaraguan Cuban Seed Corojo tobacco that was cultivated in 1999. The aged nature of the filler allows the Vegas Cubanas to offer a mellow aftertaste. The exterior of the cigar is represented by a Habano Rosado Claro leaf. As far as strength is concerned, the Vegas Cubanas line is considered to be medium-bodied. The line’s production takes place in Miami at Don Pepin’s El Rey de Los Habanos factory.
