Berger & Argenti produced a very attractive cigar here. It doesn't have any overly flashy bands. Instead, the cigar itself is easy on the eyes. The chocolate brown wrapper has a nice oily sheen. There are a few veins that are visible, but that's about it. The triple cap is very neat as well. A small band sits near the head that is unassuming. It displays the Berger & Argenti name and blends in nicely with the cigar thanks to its brown color. The cigar feels firm to the touch and has no soft spots. There is a spicy scent and cold taste before lighting.

After striking it with a match, the Berger & Argenti Clasico Belicoso burns without any problems whatsoever. The draw is easy and there is a nice volume of smoke. The solid white ash that's formed looks great against the dark wrapper. The burn is even from start to finish. Touch-ups and re-lights are not necessary.

While the Clasico Belicoso looks great and burns solidly, its complexity and variety of flavors are even more impressive. A blend of spice and cedar are the first two flavors that pop up. Soon into the second third appears a very smooth honey flavor. This transitions perfectly to a nutty taste that is rich. The final third offers a lot of creaminess. As somewhat of a surprise, the cigar got smoother as time passed.

The Clasico Belicoso shined in pretty much every department. It looked great, burned impressively, and had plenty of flavors to make the entire smoking experience worthwhile. If you want a cigar that is smooth but packed with flavor, this is one of those. The Clasico Belicoso is not too overwhelming for beginners. At the same time, it offers plenty for more experienced smokers as well. A single sells for between $6 to $7. I would say that is fair when you consider the quality you are getting. This is one cigar that can be enjoyed during any part of the day and in almost any occasion. You can find it in boxes of 20, and I think it is worthy of a box purchase.

The Berger & Argenti Clasico Belicoso earns a very strong rating of 3.5 out of four stars.
