Construction
Comments:
A firm natural wrapper, probably a Connecticut. Well-constructed with mild
veins. Cut easily with a straight cut. |
Pre-light
Aroma and Flavor:
Mild aroma. Somewhat earthy. |
Burn:
Single flame torch light. Started off a bit wild, maybe a toasting issue
caused by me, but with a single minor touch up it burned evenly
throughout. Ash held about 3 inches displaying a medium grayish color. |

Smoking Notes:
This seemed a mild cigar with little to no established flavors. It started
off with a woodsy flavor then attempted to roll into a mildly sweet
vanilla with almost a hint of nutmeg although transitions and distinct
flavors were difficult to detect. Draw was good but it didn't produce a
lot of smoke. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
I’d give this one a C+. It was well constructed cigar that burned evenly
throughout but I found it plain and lacking any climatic finish.
Transitions were subtle at best throughout the smoke and it seemed it
ended the same as it began with mild and earthy tones. There may have been
some subtleties about this cigar which I wasn’t able to detect (I'm more
of a full bodied cigar smoker), but for me this cigar just seemed a bit
disorganized in the taste department. |

Construction Comments:
Kind of shabby. Not really a great looking cigar. |
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
The tip had a sweet taste to it, almost like a Swisher Sweet or Bacarat.
That scared me a little as I hate Bacarats & didn’t want to smoke some
flavored cigar. Luckily that wasn’t the case, as that sweet tip went away
pretty fast once it was lit. |
Burn:
I had to re-light it once & touch it up several times. The ash was
grayish-white & VERY flaky. I wouldn’t want to smoke this cigar with nice
clothes on or in a nice room. When I finished smoking this I looked like a
dirty kid with a dandruff problem, as I was covered in ashes. |

Smoking Notes:
Once I cut into this stick & tried out the draw, I was slightly concerned.
The draw was pretty loose & hinted that this was a cheap cigar that was
skimming on the tobacco in the filler. The flavor was pretty much the same
the whole way through & tasted like burning leaves. It wasn’t the worst
smoke I had ever had, but definitely wasn’t the best. It was kind of hard
to get a good volume of smoke since the draw was so loose. But then again,
I didn’t get too uptight about it because the flavor wasn’t good enough to
make me miss the smoke that much. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
I didn’t really enjoy my time with this stick too much. It wasn’t harsh or
anything, but was kind of bland & poorly constructed. If this cigar costs
more than $3 they are WAY overpriced. I wouldn’t smoke another one & glad
I didn’t pay for this one. C- |

Smoking Notes:
I would say this is a medium bodied cigar that really did not show me much
in the taste dept. There was a little pepper in the beginning, but then it
faded. I was left with a dry tasteless smoke that gave me cottonmouth.
Perhaps some humi time would have improved this experience. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
The construction was on the weak side with some soft spots and the blotchy
natural wrapper was not attractive. But who cares what it looks like if it
smokes well. It did not do that either. Very little taste. I did not enjoy
this smoke. I give it a C-. |

Construction Comments:
Weighing in at 5 x 50, with a light brown, smooth wrapper. Tightly packed,
with no soft spots, and decent construction with a few veins. |
Pre-light Aroma and Flavor:
The pre-light aroma was slightly sweet, with light floral hints, a hint of
salt, it really had a very pleasant unlit aroma. |
Burn:
Cut with my Palio, and toasted the foot with my trusty Ronson (I'm on a
Colibri BAN!!) The burn was razor perfect the entire length of the
cigar, with ample smoke, and the ash held for a good inch before dropping. |

Smoking Notes:
First draw was perfect, and it had a very interesting flavor. Sweet,
slightly grassy, somewhat reminded me of a Cameroon wrapper, although I
don't believe it is. After about the first inch, I did encounter a bit of
ammonia taste, nothing major, and certainly nothing that a bit of humidor
time wouldn't most likely resolve.The finish was even more interesting,
with a slightly menthol, slightly spicy taste. Towards the middle it
developed a nice toasty flavor, and the menthol flavor was mostly gone. I
wouldn't classify it as a complex cigar, more straight forward, but
pleasant. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
Very mild, would make a decent light breakfast/morning cigar IMHO. Would I
buy it, well like any logical answer - it depends!! How much is it? Who
made it? And what is it? Rating: B |

Easy draw used a torch lighter to light it. No touch up needed. |

The Cigar did very well at first, the smoke was was minimal, and the ash
was a nice grey burn, it was not an over powering cigar by any means, it
is a very light cigar at first, as the cigar continued to burn it became
stronger halfway down the stick. Towards the end, the cigar started to
unwrap itself, at this point I had to stop smoking it. |
Overall Experience and Rating:
Overall I would give this Cigar a Solid B-, it would be a good cigar to
have with breakfast as I tend to like those to be mild, and this one
would fit right in as it is really smooth and enjoyable. I would rank it
at a B or A-, but I am not sure if the cigar wrapper falling apart was my
fault or not. I will try this cigar again, and keep it on my list, it is
enjoyable. |
